Photobook/New Zealand was delighted to collaborate again with Writers & Readers at the New Zealand Festival 2018. Sessions of particular interest to photography fans included two with Teju Cole, New York Times photography critic and author of new visual diary Blind Spot. Wellington’s Peter Black discussed his book The Shops with Steve Braunias, and Marcus Thomas and Neil Silverwood talked to their book Caves: Exploring New Zealand’s Subterranean Wilderness.
