Our friends at the Photo Collective generously opened the Australian Photobook Awards to photographers from Aotearoa.
Congratulations to the winners and honourable mentions in the Awards and to those who made the shortlist. We were delighted to see photographers from Aotearoa among the winners and shortlisted titles.
Virginia Were, from Tāmaki Makaurau, won the Student Award with An Intimacy of Long Unfolding.
Derek Henderson, Aotearoa and Australia, won the Pre-press Award with Harvest.
Anu Kumar, Australia, won the Photobook Open Award, with Ghar.
